Shutting down for now

This week I start my new job as a clerk in the federal judiciary, a job I will hold for the next two years. It is a tremendous honor. But, to preserve judicial independence and integrity, it requires me to be apolitical and not express any political views during my tenure. Some people still blog under these restrictions. As this blog has always been expressly political, I think the appropriate act would be to shut it down / put it on hiatus while I perform this important work.
